 The Keller Independent School District currently operates nineteen elementary schools, five intermediate schools, five middle schools, three high schools and two special programs centers. These thirty-four schools are attended by more than 28,000 students who live in Keller, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, and Westlake.
For the 2007-2008 school year, Keller ISD was rated recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Thirteen of its campuses received exemplary ratings, fourteen received recognized ratings, six received academically acceptable ratings and one was not rated. The percentage of Keller ISD students passing the 2006-2007 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was somewhat higher than for all Texas schools. Fourteen Keller ISD schools are attended by students living in the northwest Dallas suburbs profiled on this web site. As shown below, eight of these campuses were rated exemplary by the TEA based on their 2007-2008 school year performances, three were rated recognized and three were rated academically acceptable. TAKS scores and other performance information for the 2006-2007 school year for each campus are available by clicking on the campus name.
