The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District currently operates eleven elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, and two alternative schools. These nineteen schools are attended by approximately 13,800 students who live in Colleyville, Grapevine, Euless, and Hurst.
For the 2007-2008 school year, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD was rated recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Nine of its campuses received exemplary ratings, four received recognized ratings, five received academically acceptable ratings and one was not rated. The percentage of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students passing the 2006-2007 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.
Seventeen Grapevine-Colleyville ISD schools are attended by students living in the northwest Dallas suburbs profiled on this web site. As shown below, nine of these campuses were rated exemplary by the TEA based on their 2007-2008 school year performances, four were rated recognized, and four were rated academically acceptable.
